Notice of Annual General Meeting

Dear APCA Member,

Our Annual General Meeting will be held at Cloverdale Paints – 4880 – 104 Avenue SE, Calgary and by Zoom video conferencing to accommodate out of Calgary members.

Please register here first so we can ensure we will have quorum. Once you RSVP the login details will be sent to you if you are attending virtually.

Click and download the 2023 Slate of Nominations document, along with the Nomination Form if you know of anyone interested in participating on the Board this year. Please submit all nominations by March 20, 2023.

The meeting will start 5:00 pm, anticipating about an hour discussion, followed bysnacks for those in person. This will be an excellent opportunity to meet the many new members that have joined us over the last 2 years.

Donation Request

The Alberta Painting Contractors Association (APCA), which has over 50 members throughout Alberta, is excited to announce a new Donation and Giving Policy that will donate annually, on behalf of its members, to smaller Charities throughout the province.

APCA and its members are very proud to give back and help causes in the province that we are lucky enough to do business in.

APCA represents painting contractors throughout Alberta with a focus on Commercial and Institutional projects, providing quality assurance paint inspections as per the Master Painters Institute (MPI) standards.

Applicants should complete this application form and submit to marketing@apca.ca for consideration.

COVID-19 Policyand Procedures

The Alberta painting Contractors Association (APCA) is monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic closely and are fully committed to protecting all personnel and others we encounter to the best of our ability.

Active participation is critical to stop the spread of the virus and keeping construction sites open. We understand this is a difficult time for everyone and circumstances are changing rapidly.

When performing QA paint inspections on job sites, the APCA inspectors will follow the site specific COVID-19 plansin placeon your job sites.

Our inspectors will not report to any project site if they have exhibitedany of the COVID-19 symptoms, such as:

  • A new dry cough
  • fever
  • tiredness
  • shortness of breath
  • aches and pains
  • sore throat

When conducting QA paint inspections, our inspectors will perform them maintaining physical distancing requirements.

Together we can ensure the construction industry stays an essential service, project sites stay open all our people keep working!
